At the Fluorisalone 2012 in Milan, the Italian wallpaper designers Wall & Deco unveiled their new exterior wallpaper system, named OUT – Outdoor Unconventional Textures.
Using an adhesive, a technical fabric and then a finishing treatment, the three-part system allows facades to be covered in high quality photographic reproductions and graphic prints.
Similar to the collaboration between Metaform Architects and post-graffiti artist SUMO in the apartment building in Luxembourg, the external prints help to give individual traits to buildings and designs.
The ability to liven architectural design solely with the use of graphic prints is an incredible step forward in the industry, enhancing the elements of architecture and exterior design. [via thecoolhunter]
